Merry Christmas!

and God Bless!

The picture from our Christmas card.

No you haven't gotten it yet, because the Christmas season just began today and Advent is really too busy for me to get my act together!

More photos from our impromptu shoot with Mr. Tripod. It's getting harder and harder to get good pictures as our family expands!

The boys that were not acting like a two-year old!

What you get with a 2 1/2 year old , a hungry 10 monther and one fantastic husband... that's my world and I wouldn't change a thing.

Couch Potatoe

While in Michigan we discovered that our boys enjoyed a certain activity with Uncle Stephen...Youtube surfing.

Back to the '80's

PT very quickly assumed the role and perfected his "Yo!" right away. He used it the rest of the day.

Thankfully, this style has faded out. Good riddance, I say!

Guess what?

I'm walking!

It's amazing!

Avery took his first steps right before we left for Michigan and was at a steady four pace count. While up North he hit a personal best of 24 and since being home as put aside crawling and now enthusiastically walks/runs through the house. He is determined to keep up with that older brother.

1169

Kind of a random number, unless you drove that many miles with two precious boys to see their beloved Papa and GeeGee. Quite a little trek, but oh so rewarding. We started this journey three weeks ago today. Thus the long lapse in posting. To make it more manageable we split the way up into three legs: Dallas to St. Louis, St. Louis to Chicago and finally Chicago to Shepherd. In order to get us on the right foot, Gia went with us on the first leg. All went smoothly and the weather cooperated enough for a nice play ground break.

Here is Missouri in November or at least one of their rest stops.

Slide races!

Something about watching children slide that puts a smile on your face.

Avery having as much fun watching PT as PT is.

Yes he has no shoes or socks on!

This was the "Too Big" slide. In the end Paul Thomas discovered he was just big enough to conquer it.

Self Portrait...still having fun.

Hang on there is more to come!

Special thanks to Gia for making the first 13 hours so much fun. I don't know how you did it with the four of us!

Dedicated to one of the most fascinating toys out there: the laundry basket.

Thank you for tiring out one while placating the other!

That cardboard box has nothing on you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We are back from our Great Northern Adventure!

We had a wonderful and restful time with these folks. More details to follow (once naps make their way down south as well).

New Playground

The city just opened up a new all-ability playground. We had to check it out and it prove to be one of the best playgrounds in this neck of the woods.

It had diggers and ramps...

and this really captivating ball work. By turning different gears you carry the balls around to the top, dump the dump truck, lift the scoop of the excavator and finally bull doze them back to the bottom. We spent a lot of time working those gears!

There were swings for everyone!

There were two separate playgrounds that flowed nicely together, making it a dream come true for parents with multiple aged children. With the rubber path all around, Avery could also enjoy a little free play time.

Having a ball!
(If I didn't say it, Pop Pop would.)

Again with the ball!

Disclaimer: I am aware that my post are mostly pictures and a ton of them. It is my hope that the family that is so far away would feel more connection to their little ones and feel they are truly watching them grow up. Besides, you must admit, they are cute!
