Mary Colette's Song

When ever we are driving around we usually get serenaded by Mary Colette.
I haven't captured any car songs yet, but here is a taste from our last "stroller night night" walk.
This is the tamer version, her car serenaded usually have a lot of growls and yells.

Two Cute Green Bugs!
Psst...Ella!
Have you started hitting the bottle yet?
Asserting seniority.
Giggling at Uncle Pie.
Looks like these two are going to have some fun times and lasting memories together!

On her own two feet!

For a couple weeks this little girl has been flirting with standing on her own, that is not using any aid in getting to her feet.

This is the best picture I have, at this moment, that captures this accomplishment.

She also relocates chairs, laundury baskests, boxes and the boys big trucks. It won't be long before this little, determined girl is walking.

I did manage to get a couple of videos of her newest trick.
Enjoy!

And say, "Roar!"

A familiar game with Poppy in the boys words is, "Poppy you hide somewhere and say 'Roar!'"

Then the two scamper off to the bedroom to the start position. Somewhere along the way to the kitchen they get startled. Mary Colette enjoys this game as well and now has taken to roaring at the boys when they enter a room.

Here is a clip from last night's game from Mary Colette's perspective. They could play this for hours!

Manic Monday

We have been enjoying beautiful weather lately, which led us to a park the other night after dinner.
Here are some videos of well mainly Mary Colette because she was the easiest to capture on tape.

Her brother is as cute as she is.

And if you were wondering if Avery came along, he did and he had a great time...

Well mostly.

Avery insisted on taking his shovel with him on our walk.

Do we look like rednecks or what?

And finally some cutie pies.

We sure do enjoy having such wonderful people and parks so close!

Friday Photo Favorites

My two early risers requested another photo shoot before breakfast!

I didn't mind!
Don't think you will either.

There were in a very difficult spot in the house to capture both of their silliness, as you can see they are both quite silly.
Avery was excited because Mary Colette is showing off her latest skill-Standing.

Did you giggle? I did when I saw this.

This little girl enjoys life the most when in her brothers company.

Ahh my goofy girl has found her tongue and this is how you find her most of the time, tongue hanging out the side.
Did I mention she pants too?

And growls.

The simple comforts.
Check out those eyes!

And those eyes!
Why she has her Daddy wrapped around her finger.
(And I ask is there a better placed to be wrapped around?)

Thank you Avery for another silly photo shoot!

I've heard...

They're a baby as long as they sleep with their bottom in the air.

Here's to babyhood!
And sweet, sweet dreams!

Cousin Courage

Paul Thomas has always been, well, squimish about, well, everything.
It took him forever to walk bear foot in grass. Don't even think about wet grass! Until recently sand and dirt were basically radioactive acid when on any body part. And ask Uncle Matty about flys...PT told him they can kill you.

This is PT at the rest stop on our way to visit our cousins.
What in the world has captured his fearful attention?
That would be a butterfly...they are awfully dangerous you know.

One day later and we meet the E's at a park where Peter finds a new friend, a little snake.
Yes that's as close of a shot you all will enjoy. I don't do snakes!
Well Peter proudly carried his new friend all around, much to my boys amazement.

At one point the snake was rescued from the water by the ever caring Isabelle, who stroked it and loved it because all creatures deserve love in the eyes of Isabelle.

After all this took place PT and Avery had new found admiration for their older cousins and took this admiration home to our back yard where PT found his very own friend.

Well, its no snake, but he's taking baby steps and a worm will do just find.

His new friend didn't last too long and, as I am not too thrilled about having worms brought to me for approval, I am thrilled that this little one is growing and stretching himself.
(I certainly would not have ever encouraged worm touching)

Friday Photo Favorites

Two of my favorite aspects of living where we do.
Unseasonably warm days to thaw your toes and Poppy and Gia within walking distance.

The boys are shoeless because Mary Colette was exploring the yard with them and they did not want to step on her. So thoughtful.

The pictures are in crazy order, but I am spending too much time trying to sort them and two monsters need tickling right now.
