Selflessness
The other day we did our reflection and prayer on selflessness after which I asked the boys if they could think of anyone who is exemplifies selflessness. After consideration Paul Thomas piped up enthusiastically, "Fruncle Matty, he is selfless!"
I think you are right Paul Thomas, Fruncle Matty is selfless.
Even with arms full he still finds a way to make room for another.
He always shares...
He patiently and lovingly catechize all of us,
making our faith much more accessible to all.
This is where I could go on and on about how you, Fruncle Matty have displayed selflessness, such as making family first and traveling thousands of miles to visit us all, or never being impatient with all the children who are constantly climb on and clamoring for your attention. However since we also want you to remain humble I'll just say, "Thank you for being selfless and most importantly teaching us all greater selflessness, especially our children."

Your Lovely Face: Week 8
Your Lovely Lenten Face
My Dear Sweet Children, Your Father and I are so very proud of how you look forward to the hard sacrifice of this season. You all have wholeheartedly embraced one the most challenging lents we have had as a family, so far and have done beautifully in it. Yes, we all are looking forward to the sweetness of Easter and how sweet it will be this year.

Valentine Cookies
Okay so I already took up a post with this, however some pictures need to be archived just as well...
Avery is totally in that awkward smile phase that I hope he grows out of at some point...some of us never do...myself and well some other unnamed females on my side...yeah, you know.
Looks like someone else is approaching the same phase. She was so excited about eating the whole cookie! And that she (and her brothers) made them!
Trying for a world record for the largest treat to fit in a boys mouth.
After I gave George his cookie, he first almost died of shock, as did his father, then he happily licked and would say the most satisfying, "mmm" you have ever heard. It was such a riot to watch.
You can almost taste it through his giant indulgent eyes.
Singing his praise!
Are you going to do this for the entire cookie eating process?!
Enough already!
Whoa, Momma, you startled me.
Okay, now I'm ready.
My thinking face.
Hey, is that giant cookie eating?

Friday Photo Favorites
It's been no secret that George has had a rough time adjusting to sharing the baby spot in the family. (Please don't tell him he's a big boy!) The other day, however, he asked to hold Anastasia, which just to spite me he says her name and not mine! After placing her in his lap, he immediately pointed to the camera and said picture...so of course I did just what he ordered ummm...requested.
Oh George, you are such a proud little guy with Annie K.
Crying or not he wanted his picture with the newest.
