You told me just a few weeks ago with your most adorable puppy dog eyes and sweetest pouty lips that you would stay my baby and let "Annie Anne" grow up instead. I know, I know I would be a fool to believe you wholeheartedly. You were convincing. And maybe I thought you would honor your word, however this past week you have exploded in bigness. All on your own you decided to transition to the big boy bed and at times into the boy room. Oh how happy you make your biggest brother when you sleep with him. Your vocabulary and command of your words have exploded too. You excitedly show me "air-pane, air-pane" all day. I do love this age! How discoveries are soooo big and wonderful and exciting and just all day long. You talk, talk, talk all day now and when you aren't talking, and whoo-whooing with your trains you are singing. Oh to bottle you and this age! Before you fell asleep the other day sweet little songs were waffing from your bed and you had set up your Teddy and Woof-Woof and were happily singing away to them.
There is still a struggle in you though, I see it. You want to be big, but wonder if you still need to be little at times too. Your love language is most definitely touch and you wonder if being big means less cuddles...let me assure you it does not. I will cuddle you as long as you will let me, even throughout boy smell years.
You will always be my baby.
You all will always be my baby.
