Uncle Matty is The Big Splash!
On the HEBI side there is one uncle who stands alone in awesomeness. He can tickle, wrestle and read stories like a pro! Every child is his favorite and enjoys their special attention given towards them when Uncle Matty is in town. If I haven't told you already, Uncle Matty is in seminary activily discerning the preisthood, so our time with him is precious. Here is evedience that he is a Big Deal in our family.
Okay it is a lot of pictures, however Peter's reaction to Uncle Matty's splash is priceless. You can see how he adores him and want to splash/be like him.
After the pool, quiet time was in order.
Thanks Uncle Matty for being so generous with your time and love.
We Love You!
P.S. Uncle Matty, please do not allow your Big Deal status to interfere with your struggle for humility.

Manic Monday Dance Off
Our boys like to dance, a lot. So we thought we would spruce up your Monday by hosting a Dance Off! Each week two dance clips will go head to head and you can vote on which one will advance. Yes, a bracket has been drawn and clips have been randomly selected. Voting will take place on the upper right hand colum and lasts until the next Sunday at Midnight.
Up first is, "Avery's First Dance." This was taken right before Avery turned 1 and reminds me that there was a time when Paul Thomas took afternoon naps.
Next up is, "Dancing with the Greats." Back in February GeeGee and Papa made a quick business trip to Houston so we headed down to visit them along with the Greats and Imps. Avery got to show off his new moves, which includes some break dancing.

Friday Photo Favorites
Philip did his homework, and his saving, and purchased a new computer for us. As I was installing Picasa a delightful surprise awaited. Picasa has a new feature enabling you to edit in Picnik. Ruth Ann is the one who enlightened me to this fabulous web-editing site. She has a really great album on facebook.of pictures she has worked on in picnik, but alas our old computer was too slow for me to work in it. Now all the planets have aligned and I can do super fun manipulations. This is all coming from someone who has no idea what she is doing behind the lens or screen, but I am amazed with the capabilities of "tuters." So, enjoy!

Blowing Bubbles
Blowing bubbles, running through sprinklers, bare feet against warm cement; these are welcomed moments in childhood. Who better to share these moments with than your first friend?
My boys stretch my heart daily with their love for each other.
(Don't worry. I'm not far enough removed to have rosy glasses on, yet. They also stretch my patience.)
As of late these two have become quite the little pair. I have begun to pay extra attention to the reminiscences of GeeGee and Papa for insights and anticipations. Though I did not anticipate a train bin and nursing chair to be turned into the grandest of roller coasters or "set, go" to be the ultimate game. Motherhood truly is one of the richest joys I have received from our Lord.
And with that I will leave you with pictures of the boys blowing bubbles.
Avery doing his own unique blowing technique.
More Daffy Duck than anything.
My favorite.
