The Blaxton Gender Reveal Blog Party!

Welcome Friends and Family to our Blog Party!

What's a Blog Party?
Well it's a fun way to reach out and connect with all our family and friends that live way too far away.

Why a Blog Party?
Well, why not? We are celebrating and preparing for our fourth child and in a way to include our big kiddos we wanted to do some sort of "reveal" and thought, "why not invited you guys to join in on the fun." Plus I don't have to clean my house to have it!

How?
Most of you will be receiving "ballots" in the mail. We want to see your vote. Mustache for a boy and lips for a girl. You can email me your picture-vote and we'll have a grand old time posting them and seeing who is sporting what look!

If you have not received your ballot, let me know we'll resend one asap!

You can also vote in the box on the side of the blog.

When is the Party?
Now until we bust out the big news, within the next two weeks.

So cast your vote!

Then eat your ballot!

Yup, that's right eat your ballot.

Or two! If you can't decide!

Then wait for all the funny votes to be posted!

And enjoy our reveal in a couple of weeks!

Friday Photo Favorites

Two things that do not usually go together are Hot Air Balloons and the Texas Panhandle.
So when we heard of a Balloon Glow we along with half the town headed to the local park to witness this amazing feat.
The Glow was not quite as long as we thought so we slightly over pack with blankets and pjs and the like. It was however a very enjoyable evening that only pushed back bed time by half an hour...a win win in my mind!

Finding our place to watch.
See how prepared we were, made sure all the kids had comfy clothes on and blankets just in case they fell asleep on the way back.

Out of no where this great big Lady Bug rose up over the tree line.

Hitching a ride.

This was the debut of the Fireman balloon!

The Butterfly surprise us as well, rising up majestically and then almost flapping her wings to say hello.

We went around the lake to get a closer look...Mary Colette was so excited and was in a full run.

Closer look!
At this point Mary Colette was having a change of heart and had a death grip on Gia.

After our closer up with the Butterfly we headed over to see the Fireman. As we rounded the turn our enthusiasm was slightly deflated as our new found friend, the Fireman was completely deflated.

It was a very quick little glow, just enough for very enjoyable evening.

Monkeys in a Tree

It is hard to get all our Monkeys in a tree these days.

Still can't get them all in!

These two clever Monkeys are spelling a name!

This spunky Monkey has learned a lot from her older Monkey.

Like when to get out of here.

All our Monkeys in a tree due March 2013!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we joined our friends at a local pumpkin patch. Fall is always such a welcomed change that brings fun traditions and new experiences.

We watched the bunnies as we waited for our turn in the pumpkin patch.

Hay ride to the patch.

Which one are you going to pick?

Avery found his, green, because that is his favorite color.

Mary Colette did not miss a beat and found one for her.

This is more your size.

She was so proud of her pumpkin and carried it all the way back to the table.

These two found theirs, but where is my oldest?

Looking for the perfect pumpkin.

Found it!

He can manage with a little help from a concentration tongue.

My pumpkin trio!

From the patch we headed over to enjoy some fun activities of which I did not get many pictures.

There is my boy, who once promised me he would stay three forever, on the very top of a hay pyramid.

Just this morning the first thing out of his mouth was, "Am I four today?" How quickly they forget and grow up!

My big boy who takes care of us all. He too is growing at a rate that I am most certainly not comfortable with!

These are the most beautiful reasons to enjoy every moment.
