Angel Kiss

Last night at dinner Avery pointed out Daddy's spot and started asking about it. We informed him that Daddy's Guardian Angel had kissed him there when Daddy was born.

"And what did mine do?" Avery eagerly asked

"Your Angel hugged you tight and filled you up with joy and bounce."

"And Paul Thomas, your Angel held you in his arms, studied your face, looking deep into your eyes filled you with persistence and sincere empathy."

"Mary Colette, your Angel caressed your head leaving behind extra spice and beautiful curls."

"What did Georgie's do?"

"Well, George's Angel rocked him in his arms tenderly, filling him up with peace and glue."

"Glue!!!!!"

"Yes, sibling glue. George has the ability to bring all of you kiddos together in harmony, which can only be described as sibling glue."

I love my husband more than words. When we first married we talked about where to chase jobs and settle down (in no way do I considered us settled) we both agreed that family was more import than salary and taking less to be close to family was far more important than making it big.  When the opportunity to purchase a house arouse here in my home town, he graciously granted me a very small search radius for our new home. I feel we and especially our children are beyond blest to live so close to their Gia and Poppy.

Umm...I think I know where Mary Colette's smile came from.

George's Love Language

George not only hugs you, he melts right into you and if you allow him will stay there for half an hour.

His little chubby hand squeezing you neck is the best.

My sweet George had many great hugs over our recent trip up north, usually at the end when good-byes were being said. He also does this every time his Daddy comes home from work. He just needs to fill up his hug tank as his brothers would say.
